1976 Datsun 280Z - 2 OWNER CAR FROM NEW

Exotic classics is pleased to present this 1976 Datsun 280Z 2 seat coupe, featured in silver over a black vinyl interior. This vintage rear wheel drive sports car is powered by a 2.8 liter single overhead cam inline 6 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission.  The 1976 z produced 170 horsepower at 5600 rpms and has an independent rear suspension, as well as rack and pinion steering. The 1976 280Z’s had a top speed of 123 mph and did zero to 60mph in just 9.3 seconds.

The 280Z was first introduced in the previous model year, 1975, as the successor of the 260Z. The 280Z was produced from 1975 to 1978 as the last version of the first generation Datsun Z. This extremely low mileage, all original 280Z is equipped with air conditioning, contoured reclining bucket seats, 3 speed wipers, and AM/FM radio.

The Datsun 280z was such a popular vehicle in the 1970’s, including on the big screen. The 280Z was seen in movies such as “Fast Getaway,” “Gridlock,” “Scarface,” and “Herbie: Fully Loaded.”  The 280Z was also a hit in television, as seen in “The Six Million Dollar Man,” “Chips,” as well as later in “Macgyver.”

An extremely low mileage, all original 280Z, such as this one, is an extremely rare find.  A true Z collector will absolutely cherish this phenomenal vintage Z.
